Transport & Logistics Conference for Carriers & Cargo Owners

TransRussia’s carrier and cargo owner-focussed conference serves a vital purpose. It is a fantastic platform where major players share their experiences working in the industry, discussion of how to improve logistics efficiencies and optimise supply chains. 

2017’s conference is spread over two of TransRussia’s three days and covers numerous topics of high interest to all cargo operators and carriers intending to break into Russia. It is split into several sessions to allow for maximum discussion and the sharing of ideas:

•    18 April 2017 10:30 – 11:55– Plenary session: The development of transportation in Russia: Trends, perspectives & limitations – Kicking things off is a lengthy session covering some big issues including the status of Russia’s transport market, opportunities to improve the competitiveness of rail freight, problems and solutions in Russian freight transport and more. 

•    18 April 2017 13:00 – 14:30– Discussion session: Cost of container transportation in 2017-2018: expectations and main factors – Up for discussion in this session are trends in the shipping market, increased Russian Railway tariffs, the need for fleet renewal and more of the container sector’s hot topics.

•    18 April 2017 15:00 – 16:30 – Thematic Session: Improving the efficiency of international road transport in the condition of Eurasian economic integration – Organised alongside the International Road Transport Union (IRU), this session will examine how Russian and Eurasian road transportation services and links can be improved in the face of greater regional economic coopeartion.

•    19 April 2017 10:30 – 12:30 – Session 1: Logistics today & tomorrow: The requirements of cargo owners and operators – This session deals with how freight handlers’ operations have evolved over the last five years, the trials of the future and how the industry is ready to cope.

•    19 April 2017 12:30 – 14:00 – Session 2: “The last mile”: Delivery to the buyer – Want to learn more about how your business can step up its fulfilment, intercity delivery and last-mile delivery operations? Be sure to visit this conference session.

•    19 April 2017 14:30 – 16:00 – Session 3: Round table: Freight owners & Carriers: Optimising interaction  - Discover the best ways freight owners and transporters can improve their business relationships at session 3 of the TransRussia Conference for Carriers & Cargo Owners.

Massive figures from Russia’s transport and logistics industry will be speaking at this conference. Guest speakers include Deputy Minister of Transportation Nikolai Asaul, Innokenty Alafinov, First Deputy Chairman of Russian Highways, and President of The Guild of Forwarding Agents Semen Reser.

TransRussia’s many exhibitors will have their own chance to hold training workshops, give presentations and hold round table talks throughout 2017’s show. The “Open Discussion” interview studio, something of a TransRussia tradition, is back for 2017’s event.
